The Guangzhou Nansha International Cruise Home Port project has been rated as a provincial key project and included in the Guangdong Federation of Trade Unions labor competition project. The construction and completion of Nansha International Cruise Home Port will vigorously promote the cruise industry chain in the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area in cruise tourism, cruise industry development, cruise policy, cruise culture and other aspects. At present, China Communications City Investment Corporation is actively building this project into a city landmark, water gateway, and bay area hub in Guangzhou, promoting the construction of a livable, suitable for business, and suitable for tourism in Guangzhou, as well as the economic development of tourism and industries around the route
